She decided rather than drink her water she wanted her ice. She opened her cup and immediately spilled the entire contents onto the ground. She was not phased in the least. She began picking ice up out of the dirt and eating it, cringe. Her coach called her name to go back into the game. She reached down, grabbed more ice out of the dirt and crammed it into her mouth. I was afraid she might choke, so I began yelling at her to spit it out. The referee heard me and looked at Audrey's packed mouth. The referee told Audrey she needed to spit it out. Audrey turned to her coach. Unaware of the contents of Audrey's mouth, he held out his hands for her to spit out whatever she had. Audrey spit out the ice, not into his hands, but ALL OVER HIM. He jumped back in shock as she twirled around and rejoined her team.
Upon returning to the field Audrey decided she was dying. She began grabbing her chest and falling to the ground pretending to die. The other players were running back and forth around her and she was pretending to die over and over. I was screaming at her to stop and she was totally ignoring me. The fourth time she died she got bored with it and decided to play soccer a little more. She was on the center line waiting for another player to kick the ball when she began doing a hand clap with the little girl beside her.Honestly, I was just glad she had an accomplice. The game finally ended with Audrey bowing and blowing kisses to her fans. She picked up her drink out of the dirt and mud and gave it to me. I was overjoyed an hour later when I confused her drink with mine and got a mouth full of dirt, stickers, grass, and gravel.
This weekend there was not a shortage of moments for her to wow her fans. The children's choir at church performed Sunday night. A program complete with skits, solos and a little choir to back it all up. How do you turn your place in the choir loft into more than a solo or speaking part?? with Pizzazz!!!
She started with her trademark swaying and jazz hands, she sang loud and proud. She used facial expressions to sing, "seriously", or "enthusiastically". She started to spin to accentuate the beginning and end of the chorus. The girl beside her began singing her solo and Audrey was pointing at her in a reflective way. When the program was over no one bowed with as much enthusiasm, or blew as many dramatic kisses to the fans as Audrey. I think she fully expects people to ask her for an autograph.
Our church is having a talent show in 2 weeks. Audrey is working on a little number to sing. I am sure everyone at church is anxiously awaiting her next show. I know I am on the edge of my seat.
